Operations : Independence Day Holiday

Since the 4th of July falls on a Saturday this year, there will be no impact to our Alaska sailings out of Tacoma. Therefore, the following schedule will apply: • TW955N – Wednesday, 7/1 The TW955N will depart from Tacoma on Wednesday, 7/1, will call into Anchorage on Sunday, 7/5, and will call into Kodiak on Monday, 7/6. • AZ964N – Friday, 7/3 The AZ964N will depart from Tacoma on Friday, 7/3, will call into Anchorage on Tuesday, 7/7, into Kodiak on Wednesday, 7/8, and into Dutch Harbor on Friday, 7/10. Operations : Memorial Day 2015 Alaska Tradelane

The Horizon Lines port facilities will observe the Memorial Day holiday with hours of operations as follows: Tacoma: Gate, offices, and terminal (trucking, yard, and dock) will be closed. Anchorage: Gate will be open from 0700 to 1700. Offices and terminal will be closed. Kodiak: Open for vessel operations only. Dutch Harbor: Gate and terminal will be closed. Operations : KO945N Delayed Arrival

Due to favorable weather, the Horizon Kodiak has made up some time en route to Anchorage. We expect vessel operations to start at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 with cargo available at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will be taken at 8:00 p.m. The Gate will remain open through dinner and as needed after dinner. Operations : Dutch Harbor Weather, Reinstated Dutch Harbor Call

Please be advised that due to severe weather and extreme high winds in Dutch Harbor this weekend, we were prevented from discharging the AZ956S during her port call. As a result, most of the northbound loads destined for Dutch Harbor on the AZ956N, which departed from Tacoma on Friday, 4/10, remain on the vessel and will be returning to Tacoma on Wednesday, 4/22. Operations : 2015 Hazardous Materials Training - Change of Venue

Due to record high participation, please be advised we are changing the venue for the Hazardous Materials training in Tacoma. The seminar is being moved from the Fabulich Center on Port of Tacoma Road to the new EQC (Emerald Queen Casino) Ballroom and Conference Center in Fife, WA. (The conference center is located across the parking lot from the EQC Hotel and Casino.) Read More
