As a founding member of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) “Super Carrier Initiative Agreement” (SCIA), Horizon Lines undertakes every effort to achieve the highest degree of care and diligence and where applicable, we have modeled our compliance and security training efforts on the standards and requirements found in the Super Carrier Initiative Agreement (SCIA).
Horizon Lines is proud to take part in C-TPAT and we strongly support its principles. We were among the first ocean carriers to enroll in C-TPAT in the summer of 2002, and we received our full acceptance from CBP in the Fall of 2002.
