PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Puerto Rico Vessel Schedule Update #4
Dear Valued Customer:
Cargo Operations for Horizon Trader voyage TO386S from Jacksonville are going as planned. Gate hours in San Juan will be extended till 9:00PM tonight for pickup of discharged cargo.
Voyage TO387N will depart tonight for Jacksonville. Cargo cutoff for this voyage will remain at 9PM. Barring any further complications from the storm, we anticipate an on-time arrival in Jacksonville on Friday, 9/3.
The Horizon Navigator voyage NV435S arriving from Elizabeth will begin discharge tomorrow morning at 7:00AM and will continue through the day.
Horizon Navigator voyage NV436N will depart for Elizabeth tomorrow upon completion of cargo operations. Northbound Elizabeth cargo cutoff has been extended till 12:00 noon tomorrow.
Hurricane Earl is a Category 4 hurricane with current wind speeds of 135MPH. Hurricane Earl’s trajectory is forecast to impact the Northeast / Tri-State region this Friday, making a Friday arrival there very unlikely and potentially unsafe.
The Horizon Navigator will proceed northbound to Elizabeth at maximum speed while safely trailing Hurricane Earl. We will update our customer base with an updated arrival estimate when more information is known about the progress of this storm.
Horizon Lines is committed to recovering full schedule integrity as quickly as possible following these storm delays. We will communicate daily updates on our progress.
If you have any questions concerning this schedule, please contact your Horizon Lines Sales Representative or Customer Service at 1-877-678-7447.
