Dear Valued Customer,
Horizon Lines has amended its recent Fuel Surcharge filing covering the Guam trade. Effective Monday, September 1st, 2008, the Fuel Surcharge will increase by 4.0 percentage points, from 39.75% to 43.75%.
The amended Fuel Surcharge has been filed with the Surface Transportation Board and covers Horizon Lines’ tariffs 353, 344 and 961. These tariffs govern shipments moving between the continental U.S. and Guam.
Horizon Lines is continuing to closely monitor fuel costs and will adjust the Fuel Surcharge as trends warrant.
