Dear Valued Customer:
Horizon Lines of Alaska has filed today with the Surface Transportation Board to increase the Ocean fuel surcharge as specified in Rule 339 (Fuel Related Surcharge) of our Alaska tariffs 301, 314, 453, 313, 318 and 462 from 20.5% to 22.5%. The effective date for this increase is January 24, 2010.
We will continue to monitor fuel price trends and adjust the fuel surcharges accordingly.
