Important Notice
Attention Truckers – Chassis Pin Securing
Our terminal operations group is urgently requesting that any zip ties or wires used to prevent chassis pin movement while moving over the road be removed prior to entering the Tacoma terminal. Drivers can stop at the pre-gate area (where gensets are turned off) to cut these materials away before moving toward the scales. Please forward this information to your truckers as soon as possible.
Please note we are experiencing problems with labor refusing to remove these materials once a container is under the crane to be loaded onto the ship, causing unnecessary delays. Your assistance to remove these materials prior to gate-in will greatly assist in reducing these delays and is greatly appreciated.
