PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Tropical Storm Erika Update #5
Dear Valued Customer:
Due to pending arrival of Tropical Storm Erika, the U.S. Coast Guard San Juan Sector confirmed that the Port of San Juan is at Port Condition Yankee. This condition specifies that the port will be closed to all incoming vessel traffic without specific written approval.
The Horizon Lines Terminal in San Juan will be open for operations tomorrow, Friday, September 4th.
Pending an improved weather outlook, we anticipate a 9:00 AM cargo start on Friday for the Horizon Producer, voyage PD567S.
We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available and Port Conditions change.
Tropical Storm Erika is moving in a westerly direction at 9 MPH with maximum sustained winds of 40 MPH. Puerto Rico is now under a Tropical Storm Warning.
