PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Tropical Storm Maria – Update 3
Dear Valued Customer:
Tropical Storm Maria is continuing her course towards the Caribbean.
At this time, the center of the storm is located approximately 760 miles East of the Windward Islands, moving West at 23 MPH. Maximum sustained winds are 50 MPH.
Based on the trajectory of this storm, Maria could affect Puerto Rico this weekend. Horizon Lines encourages our customers with interests in the region to monitor this storm closely. In an effort to mitigate delays and port congestion, customers are encouraged to pick up their cargo early.
Horizon Lines will continue to monitor this storm’s progress and update our customer base with any information that could affect our operations.
