PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Tropical Storm Maria – Update 2
Dear Valued Customer:
The National Hurricane Center has identified Tropical Storm Maria as the 13th named storm of the 2011 Atlantic Hurricane Season.
At this time, the center of the storm is located approximately 1,305 miles East of the Lesser Antilles, moving West at 23 MPH. Maximum sustained winds are 50 MPH.
Based on the trajectory of this storm, Maria could affect Puerto Rico early next week. Horizon Lines encourages our customers with interests in the region to monitor this storm closely.
