PUERTO RICO SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
Horizon Trader, Voyage TO345N Delayed into Elizabeth & Upcoming Schedule

Dear Valued Customer:


Due to the remnants of Hurricane Ida, the Horizon Trader, voyage TO345N from San Juan, PR will commence cargo operations at 8:00 AM on Monday, November 16th in Elizabeth, NJ. There will be a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol inspection on Monday and cargo will be available upon clearance.

We looked into several options to minimize the effects of this delay; taking into consideration the pre-Thanksgiving holiday volumes and to complete a safety inspection of our vessel the Southbound, Horizon Trader, TO345S will now depart Elizabeth, NJ on Wednesday, November 18th for a Sunday, November 22nd arrival in San Juan, PR.

For our Northbound customers, there will not be a sailing on Monday, November 16th from San Juan, PR to Elizabeth, NJ.

On Sunday, November 22nd the Horizon Trader will arrive in San Juan, PR and commence cargo operations at 7:00 AM. Gate hours will be provided on Sunday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

In order to return to our normal sailing schedule, the Horizon Trader, voyage TO347N will depart San Juan, PR one day early with a cargo cutoff of 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 22nd. The Horizon Trader, TO347N will have an on-time arrival on Friday, November 27th in Elizabeth, NJ.

Horizon Lines is aware of the effects that arrival delays have on our customers’ operations and will make every reasonable effort to ensure that effects from these delays are minimized.
